Pasture Raised Eggs (6)

Our outdoor pasture raised laying hens, are getting a 2nd life at Grassroots Garden. They had lived on a free range farm with access to the outdoors, but their big barns mean that many chickens never venture outside. We bought them after their 18 months were up at the previous farm, and have them directly outside on our diverse pasture, scratching and browsing as chickens should actually outside. They don't lay as many eggs any more, but their eggs are as tasty as ever!
